Focusing on the future with Rosenxt
Lingen, February 1st 2024 – Entrepreneur Hermann Rosen is opening a new chapter following the sale of the majority stake in the ROSEN Group's core business. With the Rosenxt Group, the visionary engineer has founded a future-oriented company that marks a new step in the development of innovative technological solutions.
Rosenxt is pronounced "Rosen next". Accordingly, the company's ambition is to shape tomorrow by developing high-tech solutions for tomorrow's challenges today. The focus is on developing solutions for highly demanding business areas characterized by harsh environments, including new technologies for offshore wind turbines, state-of-the-art solutions for automated inspection in the industrial sector, autonomous vehicles for underwater use and environmentally friendly motorized vehicles for surface applications.
For Hermann Rosen, who as a pioneering entrepreneur led the ROSEN Group to become the world's leading provider of pipeline inspection services in the oil/gas/hydrogen sector with around 4,000 employees, the founding of the Rosenxt Group opens up new avenues and opportunities after the sale of the majority of the core business: "At Rosenxt, we have the freedom, flexibility and dynamism to fully focus on developing technological solutions for future challenges and successfully bringing them to market."
Developing the innovations that global markets will need in the future
Around 400 people are already working for the new company at various locations in Europe, the USA and Vietnam. Hermann Rosen is convinced that they are all united by the explorer gene, an enthusiasm for co-creation and the goal of contributing to a cleaner and safer environment with their developments. "We can all see that markets are changing rapidly and that we urgently need to use our technologies to create forward-looking solutions in the face of climate change". His team of scientists, engineers and specialists have a passion for technology, a wealth of expertise and the vision and experience to develop the innovations that global markets will need in the future.
As a privately owned company, Rosenxt is building on its expertise in a number of innovative technology areas, including sensors, autonomous robotics and artificial intelligence (AI). This expertise will be brought together and developed in a new location: State-of-the-art office, research and production facilities are to be built in “Wietmarschen-Lohne” in the county of “Grafschaft Bentheim”.
New space for 700 employees
Over the next few months, a building complex of more than 110,000 square meters will be constructed to house the administration and the various research and production areas as a single unit, initially providing space for 700 employees. The first buildings are scheduled for completion in the second half of 2025. "The new building will provide a new home for researchers and developers in our region and will be an important foundation for Rosenxt to pursue our growth strategy in the future under ideal conditions," explains General Manager Dirk van Vinckenroye.
With the Rosenxt Group, another innovative technology company with rapid and sustainable growth is being created close to the fast-growing ROSEN Group in Lingen, which is now majority-owned by the Partners Group. This is a win-win situation for the entire region, says Hermann Rosen, because it increases the attractiveness for highly qualified specialists and creates prospects for young people in the region.
